Spend for your school
We're local first. That means we're making sure we give back to our local communities and the future farmers of Mid Canterbury.

Our Spend for Your School programme offers you the chance to win $500 for a primary school of your choice, with each month proudly sponsored by one of our Ruralco Merchants. For every 10 transactions with businesses who accept the Ruralco Card you get one entry into the prize draw.

Plus you get great discounts and real value when you choose to use your Ruralco Card.

Ed Body Fencing

Our partner for April is Ed Body Fencing

Ed Body Fencing was established 28 years ago as the dairy industry was kicking off in Mid Canterbury. With several years of fencing already under his belt, Ed saw a need for quality fencing for the conversions and quickly picked work up as a skilled and respected fencing contractor. Fast forward, and Ed and his team have built strong relationships with their customers across all farming types, understanding the cyclic nature of farming and the ever-changing needs within the ag sector.

The business has met those changing needs by delivering high quality, solution focused fencing solutions, and has also diversified into building cattle and sheep yards, hay sheds and a wide variety of urban fencing throughout the Mid Canterbury region.

“We pride ourselves on our ability to provide the best fencing solution for your needs, on time and with quality products,” says Ed. Ed Body Fencing has been a Ruralco Merchant for 23 years and values the co-op’s support of the local community and local merchants, and the connections made through the Ruralco team and its members.

Ed Body Fencing is your locally owned and focused fencing business, committed to providing high quality fencing to support your farming operation.
