Ruralco Instore Days Draw 2024 Terms & Conditions 

Prize Terms & Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions shall apply to all advertising placed with Ruralco for Instore Days 2024. All references to Ruralco apply to both legal entities Ashburton Trading Society Limited (“ATS”) and Ruralco NZ Limited (“Ruralco”, “us”, “we”, or “our”). 
  1. Any prizes from prize draws provided by Ruralco and/or Instore Days participating suppliers and merchants are only available for Ruralco members. 
  2. Sales/transactions must be charged to a Ruralco Account or paid for by a Ruralco credit card. 
  3. Ruralco staff accounts and immediate families, Board Director accounts and immediate families, Ruralco Partner/Merchant businesses, and Ruralco Instore Days participating businesses, their staff, and immediate families are not eligible to win. Ruralco staff who hold Shareholding accounts or Sub Accounts are eligible to win.
  4. The winners drawn are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  5. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable by Ruralco or participating businesses and cannot be redeemed for cash. Ruralco may substitute the prize or any portion of the prize with an alternative prize of equivalent value without notice.
  6. All customers (regardless of whether they become winners or not) should be deemed to have agreed to the terms and conditions of the promotion at the time of purchasing the goods and entering the promotion. 
  7. Any personal information collected in connection with the promotion will be held by Ruralco for the purpose of the promotion only and otherwise in accordance with Ruralco’s privacy policy.
  8. Ruralco reserves the right to communicate details of winners in promotional activity. By entering, you consent to Ruralco using your name, should you win, in such promotional activity and material as Ruralco may require. 
  9. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Ruralco (including its employees and agents) excludes all liability for any direct, indirect, special, or consequential loss, damage, or injury (including loss or opportunity and any personal injury, whether physical or mental) arising in any way of the prize draw or acceptance or use of any prize. To the extent permitted by law, neither Ruralco nor its agents will be responsible for the quality of any prize once issued. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify a consumer’s rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or any other statutory rights that the winner may have in relation to the prize. 
  10. Ruralco reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of the promotion or cancel the promotion at any time (and if cancelled, that Ruralco may elect not to award any of the prizes).
Campaign prize draw
  1. There are three prizes, consisting of House of Travel vouchers:
    o One voucher for $15,000.00
    o One voucher for $10,000.00
    o One voucher for $5,000.00
  2. To enter you must spend $250.00 (incl. GST) across participating Instore Days 2024 Campaign businesses. Every $250 spent cumulatively across these businesses will enter you into the draw. 
  3. The entry period runs from 1 June 2024 to 7 July 2024.
  4. Every $250 cumulatively spent on a Ruralco card will give you one entry into the draw.
  5. Orders placed during Instore Days must be uplifted by 30th November 2024.
  6. 6. Product returns and non-collection may result in prize having to be returned.
  7. The Instore Days prize draw will be drawn under police supervision by 31 July 2024. Winners will be contacted by phone, or email. 
  8. Winners have until 31 December 2024 to collect their prize. Should the prize not be collected, an alternative winner will be drawn by 31 January 2025.
30th Anniversary Event prize draw
  1. There are 30 prize draws consisting of vouchers and products supplied by participating Suppliers and Merchants.
  2. To enter you must transact with participating Instore Days 2024 businesses on Thursday 4th or Friday 5th July. 
  3. Every transaction with participating Instore Days 2024 businesses will give you one entry via a ticket. You must complete your details on the ticket and deposit ticket into the prize draw box available at each Ruralco store.
  4. The Instore Days prize draw will be drawn on site by two people, either Ruralco staff and/or exhibitor.
    o Ashburton store – winner will be announced and will have 5 minutes from prize drawn to redeem prize. Failure to do so will result in alternative winner being announced.
    o Methven & Rakaia store – winners will be contacted by phone, email, or by letter.
  5. Winners have until 12 July 2024 to collect their prize. Should the prize not be collected, an alternative winner will be drawn by 31 July 2024.
